Christmas in the Alsace: Photo Story

In December 2018, I visited the Alsace to check out some of its Christmas markets, namely Strasbourg, Colmar and Riquewihr. All three can be visited in a day, but we spread them out over two days to enjoy the architecture of each beautiful town as well as what the Christmas markets had to offer. Having lived in Cologne, Germany for the last four years, our expectations for Christmas markets were high! While nothing will ever match the variety of foods on offer at German Christmas markets, the Alsace wins with its over-the-top festive decorations decking out every building in its old towns!
